 I am an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) having post qualification experience of 5 years; currently working as Senior Manager Risk Advisory Services (RAS) in BDO Ebrahim & Co. Chartered Accountants, associated with the organization since December 2018. Prior to that, I have worked in Crescent Star Insurance limited as Head of Internal Audit for the period from March 2018 to November 2018. From December 2014 to February 2018 I have worked in EOBI as Assistant Director Internal Audit, earlier completing ICAP's 3.5 years mandatory article-ship.

My major work responsibilities include:
Managing a diversified clientele portfolio of multiple clients of different scope and nature, including Regulatory Assignments and Agreed Upon Procedures.
Effective planning and co-ordination of assignments to meet stringent deadlines, including training and motivation of team members.
Engagement supervision and review, including on-going coaching / briefing to engagement teams, regular meetings with the client management.

Reviewing and finalizing the Policies and Procedures, Manuals and Internal Audit Reports to be presented in Audit Committees.

Supervising the Registration of Establishments in EOBI & assessing their Contribution Payable/ Liability towards the Institute (EOB) under EOBI Act 1976, through the performance of Audit & Verification of Financial Statements and other relevant records.
Supervision of audits to verify & ensure the accuracy & authenticity of the various revenue & capital expenditures, to ensure that proper books of accounts have been maintained and Financial Statements have been prepared properly.
Managing Pension & other EOBI Benefits of the Employees of Registered Establishments.
Developing SOPs regarding the Operational and Reconciliation activities in respect of Contribution Collection and Pension Disbursements.
Liaising with and developing good working relationships with the Outsides Agencies (Banks/ Financial Institution) for the purpose of resolving the discrepancies of Contribution Collection & Pension Disbursements.
Directing the IT Department to develop the customized reports relating to the Reconciliation of Funds, both of Contribution Collections & Pension Disbursements.
